I wonder if it's not so much the contents of tea as it is the process of drinking tea that has these effects. A little experiment can demonstrate this really clearly.
ReplyDeleteSit at a table facing someone and try focusing on the other person, and and put your hands around a glass of ice water. Then try the same thing but now put your hands around a hot cup of tea.
It seems a lot easier to have warm fuzzy feelings when you're holding a hot cup of tea.
